Naga Shaurya has become the most sought after hero for low-budget films which are either a novel concept or unique presentation. Recently, He took time to interact with his Facebook fans and here are some of his interesting answers.
Jr NTR is my inspiration. No other Telugu actor could compete with him in dialogue delivery, diction and modulation. I would love to act with him if given a chance. What a craze he had at the age of just 22 (Andhrawala Audio function). He might be God’s Child and have blessings of Anna Garu.
I treat ‘Ninne Pelladatha’ as bible because its the first Telugu film I immensely liked.
I myself select my scripts. Reports of my friends involvement were absolutely baseless.
I prefer clean youth & family entertainers which have humour, sentiment and romance.
I believe we need 99% luck and 1% hardwork to find a place in the Industry. Why because there are many good looking & talented youngsters who were much better than me! I am this position Today just because of pure luck.
After achieving stardom, I have calmed down a bit and became more responsible.
Don’t want Lover Boy tag. Wishes to try different roles.
Jr NTR appreciated me saying ‘Baga Chesavu Ra’ and he also warned me ‘Jagratha Ra’. I consider it my best compliment.
Strengths: Height, Smile & Eyes; Weakness: Dance.
    Don’t have any Girlfriends.
    Favourite Movie: Ninne Pelladatha, Simhadri
The highlight of this footage is Naga Shaurya offering his biggest critic a chance to meet him personally at the audio launch of one of his forthcoming movies.

A  NRI  married women Anamika (Nayantara), basically a software engineer, arrives in Hyderabad from Maryland, USA in search of her missing husband Ajay Shastry (Harshavardhan Rane). She tries her best to trace the missing  husband, Parthasaradhi (Vaibhav Reddy), a police officer, investigates the case to find Ajay Shastri. As the case is investigated, Parthasaradhi realise that matters of National Security and counter-terrorism are at stake. Ajay Shastry’s name is linked with terrorist named Milan Damji. Finally Anamika finds her missing husband with a stunning twist in the climax.

Nayantara was good in the Anamika role, Her performance during Climax was benchmark. Rest of the cast were good in their roles. Vaibhav performance was natural. Pasupathy has given a convincing performance as special officer Khan.Thagubothu Ramesh  was wasted in comic role.

Director Sekhar Kammula tried his best to match Anamika with Kahaani film and he succeed in doing so, While, Vidya Balan’s pregnancy element in Kahaani was not copied as Anamika is not a pregnantwoman.

Nayantara is a scary lady, But during a crucial moment she becomes and fearless. MM Keeravani’s BGM is one of the major strengths of Anamika. Writer Yandamuri scripting brought some nativity to the film. The story and characterization is good, but the pace of the film is very slow.

Shekar tried to establish characters in the first half and the movie was dragging and the second half much better than the first half , where Narayan dominates. The Climax is really gripping . Overall a suspense thriller.

Anamika is no less than Kahaani

Shruthi-haasan-reacts-on-he1Tollywood stunning beauty Shruthi Hassan is going to lodge complaint on the leaked pics of the song ‘Pimple Dimple’. These pics were out to the media just before the release of ‘Race Gurram’, which went viral and make her sad

Now Shruthi Hassan want to get into the bottom line of the issue, In her words for a leading news paper “I’m furious! What really bothers me is that these stills were not pre-approved by the production house or me. Those pics were shot on location while I was shooting for a song. And like it happens with most pictures that are shot when you are dancing, some of these were taken from unflattering angles. They were never meant to be released and should have been deleted right away”.

She was not comfortable for the things that has happened, “People have been asking me why I would pose in such an unflattering manner for publicity. I didn’t know how to react! Truth is, I have never believed in this kind of cheap publicity. There’s no way you can control such things and this could happen to anyone”.

She also added “I am filing an FIR in Hyderabad. I want to get to the bottom of this issue and I want to know who uploaded the pictures. Someone has to take responsibility. I don’t know a world beyond cinema, this is where I have grown up and I trust people here like I would trust my own family. This is a breach of trust”.

puri-jagannadh-commentsFew days ago, a cine pundit who didn’t want to be identified said that director Puri Jagannadh’s movies showed women in regressive taste often times. We didn’t argue on that front with that gentleman that time, however, Puri himself brought that opportunity and gave people a chance to debate on that and more.

The maverick director has tweeted a girl’s picture (which is seminude) and posted a comment as well with it. He posted: The Only Person to Whom A Woman Listens to Is A photographer.

We don’t know if he meant is as a universal truth but certainly the picture and his comment is not going well with some of his followers and fellow tweeters. First of all, he needs to know that not many Indian woman pose the way a photographer asks for. Second its offensive towards woman as the picture doesn’t reflect in good taste.

Is Puri jobless or what? If so he better go to Bangkok and start writing a script or two rather than posting offensive tweets, which can only rake hornet’s nest if not anything else!

Chandamama Kathalu Movie Review exclusively on Telugu One. The most awaited flick involving a lot of different and realistic thoughts. Check out the review of Chandamama Kathalu

Story :

The movie revolves around the life of different characters and their happy and bitter experiences in life. The interconnection between all these different characters had been framed in perfection. The life of a super model, the plight of an adolescent girl in love, the love story of a middle class guy with a girl who plans to get settled with someone rich, the dream of a beggar, the misery of a software employee who doesn’t find a life partner, the life of a little girl suffering from cancer, the future of a 40+ woman who loses her husband and then gets to meet her college days lover and so on. It is a mixture of happiness, sorrow, ambitions, dreams, hatred, anger, humanity, innocence and love above all !!! What happens in these lives builds the entire story.

Analysis :

Chandamama Kathalu is a feel good movie that gives a relaxed feel by the end. However, one will get to taste a lot of similarities from various films. If that weren’t the case, the movie would have been picture perfect. The effort can be appreciated but a little more genuine thoughts would have made it even better.

Performances :

Amani and Naresh : The chemistry between this duo is quite interesting but some little magic went missing.

Lakshmi Manchu : She was a perfect super model with poise and attitude. Her role was justified in a classy manner. Attires of Lakshmi were simply at it’s best.

Kishore :
Although his role was small, this man anyway proved that he is a versatile and seasoned actor.

Krishnudu : This chubby man added the essence of comedy into a film like Chandamama Kathalu.

Beggar : He hardly spoke a few words in the entire course of the film but he steals the heart of every person who watches the film for sure.

The rest of the crew did their job really well. When it comes to performances, each one tried to give their best.

Technical Aspects :

Cinematography :
Cinematography of Chandamama Kathalu is simply flawless. Every shot in the film will give the audience a very soothing feel. Suresh Ragutu did do a great job.

Music :
Mickey J Meyar gave amazing scores for every story in the entire film. The songs are blended in the film and that throws a natural feel to the scene.

Direction : Praveen Sattaru can be congratulated for coming up with a different concept in the Telugu Film Industry. He did try to do something unique but the trails of other films did disturb the beauty of Chandamama Kathalu on the whole.

Turn On :

1. Lakshmi Manchu’s natural performance.

2. The beggar stole the show

3. Ashraf’s ( The middle class boy) role

Turn Off :

1. The pinch of other movies in a script like Chandamama Kathalu

Final Word :

Chandamama Kathalu will keep us entertained until the end, although there are some flaws that keeps popping in like a bubble here and there. Chandamama Kathalu is a feel good concept just meant for absolute relaxation.

Lakshmi Manchu become Money Minded

TV Host-turned-Actress Lakshmi Manchu has finally made up her mind to be firm on the money matters whenever she works for other production houses. “Until now, I didn’t bother about my remuneration while acting in the films I like. But, That’s Past! I wish to quote the pay package I deserve from now onwards. Why because, My Father is rich not Me”.

Lakshmi wants to take up only challenging roles rather than getting stereotyped. The role ‘Lisa Simth’ played by her in ‘Chandamam Kathalu’ uses cuss words, smokes and drinks. She feels this feel-good film will remain as a classic in the TFI.

As a producer, Lakshmi Manchu got mixed results for her maiden production ‘Gundello Godari’. Although the film earned decent profits for her in Telugu, It ended up as dud in Tamil and even Ilayaraja’s brand value couldn’t save it. Currently, Lakshmi is busy with the script work of her second project to be directed by a debutante. Even she will be playing a key role in the movie.

Despite pressures from several political parties, Lakshmi delayed her political entry by 3-4 years and wishes to stay in touch with people until then through social service.
